We invite you to a very special event to celebrate Navaratri on Sunday, October 6, at 6 PM EST in Edison, NJ. The Navaratri Devi Puja will be conducted by Pandita Pratima Doobay, the resident Priestess and Community Liaison for Sadhana: Coalition of Progressive Hindus, and will be followed by kirtan (hymns) and prasad (vegetarian meal).

We invoke Devi's blessings to launch a New Jersey-based collaboration between Sadhana, a Hindu American organization working to create a just and peaceful world, and Desi Rainbow Parents and Allies, a group dedicated to promoting acceptance and support for South Asian LGBTQ people and their families. This collaboration seeks to create an accepting space for all spiritual seekers, particularly queer, transgender, and gender non-conforming people and their allies.
