Sadhana E-Satsangh: Faith and Mental Health

Sadhana Satsanghs are our monthly inclusive, egalitarian and earth-honoring worship gatherings.

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Sadhana feels it is important to nurture both the spirit and the bodies of our members by performing weekly e-Satsanghs every Thursday via Zoom, an online video-conferencing platform.

We will begin with a short prayer and guided meditation. We will then have a presentation by Shivani Parikh, a member of the executive committee of MannMukti, a non-profit organization dedicated to removing the stigma surrounding South Asian mental health. Sreeja Choppara, founder of a MannMukti chapter at Georgia State University, will then guide us in a discussion. During this time of social distancing and isolation, how can we as Hindus draw on our faith to sustain our mental health, and what are some ways in which we can check in on our loved ones?

We look forward to you joining us!
